270m. Climb up to base of Cioch Gully and take a right onto often seeping slabs (first crux). Head up to where central gully crosses and there follow ledges off up to the right onto the arete proper. Over easier ground to steeper overhanging rock overcome by climbing over nose on the right (second crux). Move up beneath even steeper face, traversing left beyond towards top on looser rock.

Great way to get onto the ridge, took 40mins taking our time but rock shoes well worth bringing for the slab. Followed by traverse to Inaccessible Pinnacle.

An enjoyable solo on a beautiful hot day. A bit of loose rock around on the top third of the route.
