Rockfax Description
1) 5c, 2) 5c, 3) 5c, 4) 5a, 5) 5a, 6) 5a, 7) 5a. The long groove that bounds the right-hand side of the slabs is another popular lower-grade climb. It has been re-equipped and gives a well bolted intro to the delights of the gorge. There is a smattering of loose rock, and you will probably not be alone. © Rockfax

Climbed up to pitch 5, then finished up L'Arabe Démente/L'Arabe Décomposition.

I lead even pitches, Dan lead odd pitches. What a fantastic day out! First gorge experience. Abseil in harrowing, but fine. A lot of worry about nothing really. I guess I'm just really out of practice having done so little climbing over the last few years. Getting off the ground on the first pitch was probably the hardest part. Nice to know that after pitch 4, the grades of the following pitches are easier. Really enjoyed the route. A very memorable experience.

We started up this route and then joined Coco...to link up some pitches that Alan had in mind. Great first introduction to the Gorge

Began to rain as we pulled the rope from the last abseil, a very quick ascent was made to try escape the downpour. P1/2 can be easily run together , as can P3/4 ;) for those looking to save time

Amazing experience, first multipitch sport climb. Had to do the last two pitches with a head torch.

absolutely got roasted on the last couple of pitches! way too hot to climb. rockfax has it as 7pitches, but we ran them together in the interest of speed to get out the heat! done in 4-5 pitches.

Hard first couple of pitches. Very hot in August. Didn't think we would reach the end of the route. The hardest days climbing I've ever done.
