Nice route, climbed it quickly. First move on the first pitch is the crux, most people seem to do an alternative first pitch.

Led pitches 3 4 and 5. Should've done 8 as well. Summit and back in 3.5 hours including lunch! Great climbing. Really enjoyed the exposed arête and the upper face climbing. Hard getting off the ground!

Abseiled off after the first pitch as Becky's ankle was too sore

Great climb on the arete with some delicate slab stuff near the top. Led odd pitches. Cruxy first pitch and saw a few folk pulling on the 1st and 3rd draws. At the top it is best to lower the first climber off to the right of the climb looking up. They can attach to the belay and the second can down climb -fixed rope in place. Quicker than abseiling from the top. Then three abseils. The first can only just be reached on 50m ropes although it says 47m. Other two were OK. You can't try and miss out going back down the last 20m to the belay for the last pitch even on 60s before you start the abseils as a couple of climbers ahead discovered.

Disappointed to be rained off after only 3 pitches. Had to pull on the draw to get off the ground as I didn't really fancy decking on the first move of the climb. After that the climbing (first two pitches) is reasonably easy but sustained.

Highly recommended. Leaving the ground is hardest move on the entire route!

Went wrong on P2 and strayed onto 6b territory : had to pull on gear :-( Good route tho!

One of the best routes of the trip. Unfortunately, missed last pitch.

Great route, with as others have said, the crux being the first pitch. The latter pitches follow a great arete!

Nice trip, first pitch is quite a bit harder than the rest of the route.

suggest *** but p1 is significantly harder than the rest of the climb. Some teams avoid this by taking the F5b start of the route which starts to the left "Gazon Maudit". Was back enjoying a beer by 4pm
