Rockfax Description
E1. An excellent combination is the lower section of Aurora, the middle bit of Botella/Montesinos, a short section of G.E.D.E. and the final grooves of Boulder Terminar. This provides a nine pitch outing at a sustained 5+/6a which spirals up the buttress from the depths of the gorge to the ridge crest high above. © Rockfax

What a route - very exploratory feel with hard route finding and being collectively very under graded. All the grade 5 pitches are very hard and worrying for the grade, not sure if we went the wrong way for pitches 4 and 7, but they were certainly wayyyy harder than 5 and pretty dangerous at times; doing this without full trad setup would be crazy. The grade 4 traverse is sensational!

Went off route around pitch 4. Not sure why,or where we should have gone. Pitch 1+2 well bolted. Pitch 3 E1 5b, but OK trad gear. Pitch 4 spaced crap bolts and v. Little trad found. Forced to traverse left VS 4c ish. Easy 5+ well bolted pitch 5 and v.tough 6a+ pitch 6, then easy scramble to top. Should have walked down towards toix, but abbed off and struggled to find bolts/ gear for lower abseils. Not really worth the hassle of doing this route and still not sure where the route should gave gone.
