Superb, and sustained. hard tufa climbing lead into sustained crimping up the headwall. Given 8a+/8b in the new guidebook.

2nd go this trip. Sketched the lower tufa section but did the deed

2 dog, and 2 good RP attempts, tweaking crux sequence each time. 5th day on isn't really a 8b RP tactic!

Brilliant climbing but I have struggled with the crux move for a while. It was 8b in the topo when I started but the new guide gives it 8a+/8b and some say soft at that! I think that it is comparable with The Groove at Malham and that is 8a+, and it is just as good too.

No way is it 8b. Maybe Chulilla 8a+ or British 8a. Brilliant route what ever the grade. Crux would be much harder for the short.
