Follow the same line as the summer scramble "Stepped Ridge". Follow the left edge of the buttress over looking the wide gully, keep close to the left edge to gain the full grade.

βeta: I think that stating you must stay to the left to get the full tick is a bit misleading. There are many options, and taking a direct line is obviously the more fun and harder option but some of the stuff on the left is much harder and some much easier than grade II. It’s actually a fun little adventure where you can choose your own line and I think it’s worth a couple of stars. In the condition we climbed it, I would say you might not want to do this as your first grade II. There are some mandatory spicy bits that are certainly grade II and I think the description mentioning that it is inferior to another route is a bit of negative thing to say as it is a very worthy line.
