20m. An excellent and steep ice pillar in a prominent roadside position. The ice forms a ramp which leads to ca. 8 m of vertical ice before the angle eases to a slab then a step. There are possibilities for climbing mixed lines to the left and right side of the pillar. An ideal line for evening laps. In recent years the ice on the pillar has been very chandeliered hence the WI 4+ grade, in good conditions the route is WI 4 and an excellent line.

The top can be accessed by climbing the first ice step to Lab Rat then trending diagonally rightwards through trees to reach the ice. Ice screws are best for building an anchor as solid trees are too far off to the side for a clean line.
