βeta: The descent down the south east ridge, as described in Parois de Légende, is well marked with cairns all the way to the rap station. Pay attention when the path branches. Take the right branch towards the sheep pasture (ledge), marked with small cairns. The left branch leads to the downclimb (3b) and this is also marked with cairns.
