βeta: For descent without leaving tat/ab - you can lower your second, and once they are on the ground they will take in the rope on the other side and slowly lower you, with the rope between the V blocks, effectively turns the pinnacle into a pulley | βeta?

βeta: The step onto the ridge seems to be the crux. After that it's big holds all the way. Huge spike runner on the steep section. | βeta?

βeta: If you are small and/or have short legs, the step back off the pinnacle may be a challenge - either needs belaying by a tall friend who can get down easier, or you need to have not been pushing the grade at Severe, certainly would feel necky for that | βeta?

βeta: This is a really great climb without being too scary. Good positive holds and a real sense of achievement. Some beta about getting back down: There's a triangular block on the top of the pinnacle that you can tie some accessory cord around to abseil off, or like us you can belay your second to down-climb the back of the pinnacle to the chock-stones, then down climb the lefthand gulley placing gear on the way down. Leader can then reverse-lead climb down and remove gear.
