Rockfax Description
This magnificent line takes the immaculate grey pillar of rock jutting from the Ford's East Face. A lengthy rightwards traverse leads to a climactic crux finish - the moves are baffling, thin and technical. From the marked ledge on the topo, climb the traverse across to a rest beneath the left edge of the big grey shield. Climb onto the shield and cross it, finally gaining the crack above. An extended crux sequence leads you to the finish ledge. A jump from the 15m high finishing ledge should form an integral part of the route - the alternative is to jumar out on a pre-placed rope. © Rockfax
