60m, 2 pitches. Stated as 70m in the Hemsedal Ice guide but it's possible to reach the top of the main ice with a 60m rope. It's a further 60m up the icy chimney.

maninblack 7 Feb AltLd Nice conditions, not too cold. Did about 35m for first pitch, including a long stretch at 85°. Delicate climbing on second pitch to the very strange in situ rope. Another 35m up the gully at about M4

Big Lee 15 Dec, 2018 AltLd rpt Excellent. More homogeneous ice than last time I climbed the route but quite wet on the crux steep section. Opted for its left hand side, via a steep runnel and recess. Very steep but I managed to find a lot of bridges. Easily WI4+. Continued up the chimney above the main ice, which was filled with ice on this occasion and quite easy.

stratandrew 24 Feb, 2016 AltLd O/S Excellent steep icefall with at least 3 or 4 different lines all at a sustained WI 4. Could easily accomodate two or three teams simultaneously.

Murilo Lessa 15 Dec, 2014 AltLd O/S Led the first pitch, very thing and steep but with good hooks since the waterfall was still not fully in - a remote sigh from the one you see in the guidebook . Lee did the 2nd bit which was lacking ice and required some proper Scottish moves!

Big Lee 15 Dec, 2014 AltLd O/S Really good route. Steep lower section. Led the upper steep section and continued up the gully above the main ice, which was rather exciting given that the ice wasn't properly formed. WI4+ in current conditions.
