On the left on the drive towards Chapel Ponds. An Adirondack classic and a great climb! Park at the trailhead for Giant Mountain on Route 73 and make the short walk to the base of the falls, carrying whatever you need (if you don't want to climb with a pack on, leave it in the car and just carry crampons etc). Can be wet so best after a few days/nights of consistently low temps. The first pitch (either straight up the falls or on the iced up rock on the left) will be either very wet or very sketchy if there hasn't been a good freeze. There is a good path from the top back to the car park.
