Enjoyable scrambling is to be had traversing the coastline from the lime kiln at Brown's Houses into the beach below Jack Scout. This involves picking a line around the rocks and small cliffs, trying to stay above the beach and below the grassy tops. Whilst it might seem a touch artificial to some, as it's usually easily escapable, there is really good scrambling to be had - with sections above grade 1 - up to VDiff - if you wish. Particularly exciting is the stretch coming around the head of Jenny Brown's Point, crossing bands of rock between sheltered beaches. The final section around the cliffs onto the beach below Jack Scout is also enjoyable. The scramble can be continued beyond this point, up to the caves across the bay.

Along the way, there are fantastic water-cut handholds, many fossils, bands of quartz and sea shell conglomerate to enjoy spotting.
