βeta: Abseil down from overhang, leave one single rope in Then 3 abseils down to the river First pitch from the river up to the cave then step out from the cave right up to the ledge before the waterfall forked and we went left and D/N went right Then we climbed steep section onto a ledge with lots of loose ice, wait for nick and Bob. Bob and i then went up the right hand side to rich at the belay. Ropes frozen. Easy pitch to the hard steep bit, rich absolutely fucked at the top from frozen rope. I took over for bob Wait around for a bit to decide what to do, feed rich chocolate Ropes fucked so we use the ab line and the boys ropes, Daniel tries, nick tries and then aids it. Final pitch traverse and to summit on the other end of the abseil rope | βeta? | |
