The climbing lies below prime grouse moor which needs to be crossed to achieve access. Those wishing to climb are advised to check the Natural England, Open Access database for any temporary restrictions. The location is OS, SE582986.

An excellent route up the central line of the left buttress.

(5c) Bridge to the top of the obvious corner crack. With a hip hip establish yourself above the overhang – a hooray hold to the left may help. Finish more easily up the slab.
