A superb route on good rock giving open and continuously enjoyable climbing and saving the crux for the very last moves.

Great day out, as per Graeme's notes. 4 am alarm clock was worth it to maintain our clean sheet of zero benightments (for this trip anyway!)

Big adventure day, got a little lost before finding the correct decent after the first abseils, 12 hours in total so finished in the daylight :) Soloed first couple of approach pitches before roping up. All climbing on route fairly easy with just one tricky section on the last pitch.

Couldn't see any bolts on the top crux, just some old tat hanging down connected to who knows what. That pitch felt about E2 but the rest was rompy VS

AltLead: Neil took P1, and so on, until I took the last pitch. We lost during descent, it got dark, and ended up in chilly forced bivvy with no bivvying kit with little water left. Epic!

Amazing Alpine Rock Climb (and PDL tick!) in he desert. Great line and fun last pitch.

Really nice :) Last climb of trip, ended up off route at the end trying a 'direct finish' 20ft above a dubious peg! I backed off and Dan found the much easier proper finish. Was imprisoned by Hammand for the night, almost found the way but it was not to be till the morning!

Classic, long route which we underestimated slightly by not taking headtorches! Mostly HVS climbing with a lovely bold E1/2 5c pitch at the top (only one 5c move). Somehow made it down Hammad's Route just before it got dark....

Nice climbing, apart from nightmare route I took on approach through rock arch on crap rock. Continued up to desert on Hammad's Route then down that.

The first part soloing was a disagreeable exercise. Beautifull route! The final crux I found really hard. We continued to the summit of Jebel Rum and then down on Hammad's route.
