Looking through ships/grim hole head over left and make a straightforward traverse round the north side of the stack to reach the seaward side of ships hole. Traverse into the chasm and swing across the low arch to gain a resting cave on the other side. Continue across the black wall, staying low and climb an easy groove. Continue along the south side of the stack, with a steep section passing a prow. At mid to high tide throw shoes/chalkbag across and wade/ swim 5m channel. WM dws
