50m. Icefall on the east face of Sgurr a' Bhasteir, just left (south) of an obvious tapering gully and above the lochan. One or two pitches depending on conditions. There are right and left starts. SMC new routes description advises an exit left up icy slabs to belay at a low wall. It is also possible to continue up the runnel at the top of the icefall and belay at a block around ten metres up the snow slope. Finish by a rightwards-rising traverse up easier ground to the North-East Ridge.
