Continue up the soggy micro-valley from Small Step to the next and bigger lump of rock. Start at the lowest point on this crag. Follow edge of rib without resorting to easier ground either side for holds or protection. Interest is maintained the more this eliminate rule is adhered to.
Currently grading in the severe range owing to being dirty and protection cracks full of moss, stones and lichen. Ground-strike being a huge fear for the crag moderator! Expected grade to drop if cleaned up. Equally, being more eliminate might just push the grade up a little.
Name relates to the fact that Jester Dog decided to leap down the gully to the side of the climb whilst Dave was belaying Fran up the climb, much to both our shock and then subsequent amusement. Jester, of course, is just fine and wonders what the fuss is about.
