Robin Woodward 7 May, 2017 Lead O/S Had originally intended to move together throughout the route, but the loose rock, initial vegetation, combined with the tricky steps in approach shoes made us put this off until the final sections. The position of the route was amazing, but the quality of the early climbing took away from this somewhat. Also our description said a large (ish) hex was useful for the left hand chimney, which was too big even for a large torque nut, so not sure what the writer was carrying! There is a chock stone which can be slung, but we ended up having to foot-jam in our approach shoes to get up it. Not sure I'd repeat this.

biggianthead 17 May, 2014 - Good route for alpine training. Excellent exposure. Sun all day. Mixture of good rock and loose rock; and even an abseil at the top. All while you watch the crowd freeze in the shade on Scafell main crag. Brilliant fun

Wesley Orvis 26 Aug, 2013 Lead another fantastic day in great weather on the ridge, although the first pitch seemed a lot more grassy and chossy than i remember.
