In June 2002 a huge rockfall from high above the crag swept the ground at the foot of the crag removing a few of the first bolts and felling mature trees, some of the blocks reaching the village of Barberine. Despite purging the couloir above the crag numerous times over a period of years further rockfalls occurred. This resulted in the crag being banned - an arrêté municipale - which is still in force. Climbing here therefore is at the climber's own risk. The commune is not responsible for any injuries and climbers' insurance is void.

35m. Steep and interesting all the way. Originally climbed to belay on the ledge at 30m - 7a. Then extended by three more bolts to the top at 35m - 7a+. Take care when lowering from the top with a 70m rope.

Sylvain Frendo, Marc Ravanel, Jon de Montjoye.
