Deep snow meant it was unprotected, but was fairly comfortable apart from that. Weather was stunning.

Best mountain route of the trip. Enjoyable but straightforward 45-50 degree snow on the lower slopes, ice screws placed for practice, moving together. Upper slopes softer so not possible to protect, lots of kicking steps. Would give it AD/AD+ as the snow was getting soft but not impossibly so. Great summit views.

Excellent snow conditions. Relatively easy going. Descent via Northerly ridge working on short roping technique.
