2 pitches.

Rockfax Description
2 pitches. Follow the first pitch on relatively easy ice to a belay under a well-defined pillar. Continue up the pillar to the top. The quality of the pillar can vary greatly and in some seasons Kong Vinter and King Kong actually fuse together. © Rockfax

A wide waterfall with a few variations possible.

Steve P1 on good ice but often with considerable water flow beneath. I led P2 up steeper ground but a shorter pitch to belay at a rapel station. Fully deserving of three stars and climbing in a remote and atmospheric location.

1st pitch, relatively straightforward but some dinner plating, thin ice above ranging waterfall and ice plates ready to be surfed! 2nd pitch very steep but actually OK to climb, some hooks and some delicate ice, though used a knee mantleshelf! Brilliant route.

2 fairly sustained pitches of reasonable climbing on very slushy ice.

Started late the approach took a lot longer than expected with the car down from Rjukan. First pitch frank parked us in a piss wet Belay where the screws looked like they wouldnt hold a soggy Kitkat! Martin too cold so it was down to me to lead the upper pitch...Steep climbing over an Rotten ice Bridge and a Big Granite Boulder Drytool topout were not in the topo!!
