βeta: The following assumes starting at the eastern end of the gorge. Approach beta: follow the main trail through the gorge, crossing a number of bridges. When you come to a bridge which gives you a view of the whole route, cross it and follow a climbers trail directly up from there. There is a short section with a bolted wire handline. Descent: Walk off. Walk up towards the obvious cross. A few metres further, there is a trail which descends a small gully (in the direction of the plateau) and back up to the next cross and trail down. | βeta? | |
