The obvious couloir splitting the ENE spur of Ras, beginning much lower down and to the left of the main NE Couloir. Route 30 in the Desnivel guidebook.
Follow the couloir (rocky and/or icy steps at the bottom and top) until it opens up. Traverse up and right, below the crest, and wind between crags on 40-50 degree snow slopes, until you reach the East flank and the normal route from the Tizi n'Ouagane.
