UKC Logbook - 'Window Buttress Original Route'

110m, 6 pitches. An excellent climb, start at a groove behind a large cairn. Follow well protected grooves and corners up the length of the lower buttress with good stances. Various starts between Difficult and Severe are possible, these are described in the SMC Cuillin guide.

liensiwel	26 Aug, 2021	Show βeta βeta: Lovely route. Pitch 1 and the "window" pitch are the standout ones. Not sure if the latter is v.diff. To fall would probably mean decking it onto a mass of boulders... maybe hvd 4a? A few lines of seepage, but nothing that really gets in the way; we climbed in rock shoes. Overall, a cracking day out for those of us that bimble more than climb. Weather and views were fantastic. Midges only a problem at the carpark.
