Rockfax Description
A direct bouldery started to Slippery People is sure to get your pulse racing. Climb the arete to the bolt at 5m and then move up to the second bolt on Slippery People and follow this to the lower-off. © Rockfax

Very cruxy and a little sketcky start, probably better to climb past first bolt and then clip it in hindsight.

Clipped first bolt early off the crimp with poor feet, had I done one move above, it would have all felt less stressful. Slightly broken/ snappy rock to get onto ledge with first bolt possibly at half height from the ground. First few drops of rain. Love affair with slate lasted twenty minutes..

Rockfax implies its just a different start to Slippery People but its pretty much a different route

E4 6b imo would be a soft one tho, bouldery

MischaHY 30/Mar/16 Lead O/S

Fairly bouldery start into jugs. Solid E3. The rock at this end of the face is higher quality than the rest allowing some small crimps to be put to good use.

Jumped from the jug last time, but felt easy today! Clipping the first bolt is desperate if you do it 'early!'

Felt quite fall-offable up to the first bolt, luckily I didn't. Quality climbing and a great experience with the orange glow of the sun coming onto the rock as I moved out onto the main arête.

Not too bad, dodgy foothold on the crux though. Better than slippery people!
