4300m, 72 pitches. VI 5.10 A4
Supposedly the longest rock climb in the world. Starts on The East Buttress and tops out the West Face. Climbed originally in 3 separate pushes, with the FA team returning to the ground between. Firstly from East Buttress to El Cap Tree in a day, then to Heart Ledges with bivvies on the Continental Shelf and El Cap Tower, and then finally to the top. Still awaiting a repeat, with the obvious challenge of somehow doing it without returning to the ground.

Mark Melvin, Chris McNamara Aug/1998.
