Faces north, nice and shady for a hot day! From the Lindauer hutte follow the clearly signposted path. After a pleasant descent through the trees it leads steeply up to the start of the route (which is also obvious). The line of the VF is clear enough, torches needed for the 350m tunnel through the cliff face - its twists, goes up and down and you can't see the light from the end until you are quite close. The escape route (Notausstieg on the topo) is only really of use if the weather closes in - its after the only pitch of grade C (which is short and easy for the grade), although the upper part of the VF does have more B/C pitches than the section below the tunnel.
