From below a big flake in NW Gully climb the right wall of an arete untill a step left can be made to the arete. Easy slabs above 90 feet

This felt way harder than VD. The guidebook refers to a hard move left onto the arete by a hollow flake, but getting to the flake wasn't all that easy, and was poorly protected. A large piece of rock by the flake is loose. As a handhold it can be avoided, but without using it as a foothold the hard move across has become harder. I lowered off, Steve had a look and did the same.
