Basically an onsite, slipped off and weighted the rope slightly on the very first move up to the base of the crack, annoying! Sustained once you commit to the corner, lovely climbing. Quality move to top out too! Gear excellent throughout. Good route.

Felt hard for the grade. Glad I had a tight rope.

Cleaned this 2 years ago although it could do with a once over again. Good to finally do it and be back climbing after shoulder injury!

Good route, fairly clean just now compared to what I've seen it like before.

Absolutely manky. Felt like a bit of a sandbag. Dogged the gear midway and gave it a brush, otherwise clean (not the rock). Shame as there's an excellent route under all that muck.

Backed off but retained the on sight. Usually when I back off something I am furious with myself; today I really enjoyed the whole experience. Interesting climbing to get as far as I did - then beset by post-football proto-cramps in two calves and one buttock while bridging - which I managed to overcome without falling, and then deciding that the slightly damp and distinctly mossy layback crack above was not for me on this occasion. Then the down climbing was also very interesting. Throughout it all I felt a Zennish calm. Well protected. I'll be back.... preferably when I'm feeling a bit less Zen. Not failure, I told Daf, but deferred success!

Very good value - surprisingly physical climbing on decent rock but needs more traffic.

Did the crux moving out of the top of the crack, then got flustered and down-climbed the whole thing for a drink of water, pretty stupid, but at least gave the route some extra traffic... Then went back up and finished it. Exciting head wall at the top. Really good to get it in the end. A bit wet and dirty above the crack, but fine really.
