The blank black corner gives an intense technical challenge. Pull into it with difficulty and continue past the peg (easily backed up) with more difficulty until eventually the ledge is gained. Rest your aching feet for a while then pull into the easier final corner past careful RPs.

[Cleaned July 2014, accessing the ledge is now easier via an in situ rope just left of welcome to the cruise]

Only just at the crux. burning calves. Route was clean apart from cobwebs, and rock generally a bit scrittly.

Tried this again as the route was sheltered from very strong winds and also because I find it so difficult. Tried it 2 times. :o)

Self-belay rope solo. Very enjoyable route!! :o) Tried 2 times, 1st time was a real battle but 2nd try I did better and feel I may be able to do it clean after more work on it. :o)

gets right tricky straight off the bat, with minimal thin gear. Took me a while to work out the moves. Upper section is much easier.
