39m. Takes the centre of the undercut, leaning and awesome Asteroid Wall. A pumping lead. Start from a shaly ledge at 5m below the centre of the wall, poor belays (or from behind the boulders). Surmount the first tricky bulge (2 pegs and good wires) to clip a peg to the left and stretch up right for a jug. Continue direct, strenuously (peg) to gain a superb shakeout flake slightly right, which signals the end of the worst atrocities. Swing left to a good slot, and climb up intermittent cracks to gain a quartz break just left of the arĂȘte. Step right around the arĂȘte and climb its edge on good holds to a ledge. Pull over onto grass and scramble to the top, belay on a fixed rope.
