Appy memories of a gneiss little crag © phantom whistler
Small lump of Gneiss in a beautiful setting.
|A recent fire on the hillside has swept up to the crag and on up to the R. The crag itself has escaped and the flames have just jumped the approach path but currently (28/1/15) it would be good policy not to wear white clothes! Vegetation to either side of Dalle du cerisier has been burnt but rock looks OK.|

|A nice change from granite though it took a bit of getting into. Very steep juggy routes. Found the topo a bit hard to follow initially on the main face - there seem to be more lines marked than there are bolts! Not a crag for a hot day - it was incredibly airless and sweaty.|
