Good spot for an evening, nothing overhanging - sea washed walls over a lovely sandy cove - NMC Bouldering Guide p.424
Approach notes
From the Alnwick bypass (A1) take the B1340 turn off at Denwick and follow signs to Longhoughton. At Longhoughton follow the B1339 north and after 1.5 km turn right towards Howick and park at Sea Houses farm where the road turns sharp left along the coast. The farm track just north of the farm leads to the cove.
| Nice location for some fun - either solo or top roping possible. Holds better above sea-washed base, sandstone rock slightly crumbly but firm enough when used with care. ipblake - 03/Jan/12 |
