Two small south facing crags 10mins from the roadside. Faces the Cuillin, is steep and quick-drying.
Park as for Dun Beag Broch, cross the road to the East side and over the moor with Dun on your right. Dun Mhor is obvious 5mins further on.
Climbed at this crag yesterday. What a cracking venue, while Skye was blowing a tepid gale I was basking in the sunshine at this south facing crag out of the prevailing winds. Two stunning and interesting prefessionally equiped friendly routes. In my opinion this small crag in the middle of no would be a big fat nothing if it had not been made amenable to the public by way of bolting. A must if you are in the area. A Snow Man - 09/May/10 |

Just been up to see Highlanderwolf's trax...
Sorry John, but your enthusiasm has gone OTT.. not even Ratho or Alien Rock spend that much money per metre on enjoyment for a few! There IS a lot of rock around, but that is a wee crag well known by locals and that face in particular is one of the finest bits of rock around.... Shame you bolted it... especially with so many bolts... and often next to trad gear placements... if you want that amount of security, go to Disneyland. Raskye - 09/May/10 |

Ben, the "history" is sketchy at best. It was apparently OK for the old pegs to be placed and very occasional top-roping. Maybe there were trad ascents in the 90s, but much time, effort and money was spent making the venue suitable for many and it has been greatly enjoyed since.
There is so much great rock on Skye, that it seems sad to think anyone would want to detract from alternative use of a few unloved metres.
Hey if anyone wants to climb the lines as trad routes they should go for it, the loose rock and the lichen have been removed! Sorry if we haven't moved beyond this nonsense. highlanderwolf - 15/Apr/10 |

On reflection, probably a better left as a trad. crag given past ascents and history. Ben.W - 18/Mar/10 |
