Creag Mhòr Bhrinicoire, Morar © Kevin Woods

Crag features

Creag Mhor Bhrinicoire is a quiet crag overlooking Loch Morar. Much of the crag is broken up, but the frontal face drops in a series of walls and fault lines to give steep, exposed routes on rock of varying stability. Though often solid, it sometimes feels like climbing a jenga tower. Climbing is aptly exhilarating and tat adorns the routes, which maybe says it all.

Approach notes

An easy 40 minutes from the road end.

There is currently a pair of Barn Owls nesting on the first pitch of grand old master. Please avoid this route as intentional disturbance is a criminal offense.
