Crag features

An esoteric little quarry with a couple of routes on fairly solid rock, not particularly high.

You shouldn't need a rope here, but if you bring one, it's toproping only. Remember to extend anchors so that no moving rope comes into contact with the rock.

Approach notes

On private land near to a footpath - no access issues reported as yet although the land sometimes contains a large bull. Obviously being discreet and quiet while avoiding leaving any mess will be useful in ensuring this situation continues.

Park near Forge Cottages on the road leading SW from Penshurst, a village 3 miles west of Battle. Avoid blocking drives or gates or anything else important. Follow the track northwards from Forge Cottages for about 250m until the rocks can be seen in a field on the right, surrounded by a little clump of trees.

Restricted Access

Note: as of of June 2020 this appears to be completely fenced off and inaccessible.
