One of the last great grit roofs to be climbed...in someones garden!! © Simon

Crag features

A pleasant small buttress providing quick-drying, sheltered, south-facing routes; ideal for a quick fix.

Recent exploration Dec/Jan 2017 has given some very good bouldering.

Further up the road is one of the largest gritstone roofs in the Peak.

Approach notes

The crag is situated just above the B5057 Darley road, about a hundred metres from the junction with the A632. The best approach is to walk to the road junction and take a well trodden path into the woods over the back of the main crag.  Do not jump the gate/fence by the parking spot.
