A short beach-side crag with plenty of bouldering. Some good E1 slab lines good for soloing.
You could have a good day out climbing here at low tide then moving to the bouldering circuit across the bay when the tide pushes you off.
Kiosk, restaurant & toilets 300m away.
Park by the slipway at La Jaonneuse bay.
The Stack floods around 5.5m above chart datum (~'1/2 tide'), and the slab at ~6.5m above - so theoretically it will stay dry on a dead neap tide.
24 July 2023 - Some damp in the slab below the fort, the Stack is solid and enjoyable as ever. Barney Williams - 24/Jul/23 |
