Soloing at Gilstead © Laurence
A fair amount of bouldering with a range from easy through moderately difficult, with fine views overlooking Bingley. Some testers and a couple of wideish roofs; a few esoteric and extending up to 6 metres - so prang potential - and a few routes!
There is often some broken glass at the foot of the crag. Please take a small bag with you and assist this situation rather than just ignore it. Perhaps the problem exceeds your solo efforts; that's okay - please make a small effort and together we can contribute to improving the situation together.
On foot; park carefully in residential streets; occasional but rare vehicle break-ins from the first location; don't leave anything on show. Perhaps "show nothing" ...
Easy enough approach on footpaths from:

Worth visiting if local, not a place to travel far for. Nice views on a clear evening as the sun is dropping down. nathan - 13/Feb/03 |
