The gritstone blocks that form the back wall of Henry Price halls of Residence at the University of Leeds have provided a training ground for the Leeds university Climbing Club for many years. Lauded as 'great training for Malham' and featuring further buttresses of the arch and the hench tree it is surely worth a visit!
University staff have told climbers not to climb on the overhangs (i.e. stairwells between walls over doors), and to be careful not to pull on any piping, tubing or light fixtures as there have been recent issues with climbers causing damage (tubing isn't in anyway!). Please respect this to keep 'crag' access open!

Dude is that it! :O Its not really a crag is it? Or is there more than on the pictures? super/frets - 21/Mar/12 |

Don't piss on the walls and don't make noise in the evening during exam periods!
Plenty of lasses around and about, entering and exiting the building. Much better than Leeds Wall and will take trad gear... Dave Warburton - 11/May/10 |
