Short schist buttresses overlooking Loch Lubnaig offers single pitch trad climbing and bouldering on good quality rock with interesting features. There are good opportunities for more routes at all grades.
Park at the head of the footpath into Glen Ample, walk up to the farm, and instead of following the path, cross the stream on the left to find an overgrown forestry track. Follow this up out of the woods, then curving back down to the left round to the west side of the hill, then head up hill towards the crags and boulders 5 mins above the treeline. 20-30mins in total.
Holly tree Wall has a strikingly blank overhanging wall on its right hand side, and a holly tree growing out of a slabby ledge halfway up.
Round to the left is a large slab with a striking roof feature at the bottom.
