Crag features
An extensive boulder field near the Saas di Stria sport climbing venue just off the Valparola pass. A good range of grades to be found. Grades and sectors are taken from the 'Arrampicata Sportiva & Boulder Nel Sudtirolo' (2007) guidebook.
2024 update: The boulder numbers and route numbers have been left as originally set up using the 2007 guidebook, however I have tried to add boulder names to each of the blocs (section headings) using the boulder names on 27 crags where they are able to be matched up. Where it has not been possible to match the old routes I have added new blocks/sections with '2024' written in brackets named in conjunction with 27 crags. In addition I have included problem route names from 27 crags and Italia Bloc guidebook where possible.
Approach notes
Right at the top of the Valparola pass just before it joins the Falzarago. Roadside parking is available. The boulders are visible in front of the Saas di Stria sports climbing slabs.
