Crag features

The Rocks are medium-sized and are best for kids who are just getting started and live near by and don't drive. There are a few routes but it depends how good you are. There is some very good traversing. Marks? Four or five out of ten. [Dave Stocks 2/02]

This crag is currently covered in heather and would take a lot of work to make the routes lead-able, however the crag is an obvious beauty spot and other users would probably not appreciate gardening.

There are very big boulders at the top for top ropes. (Dom 9/2010)

Approach notes

From Todmorden take main road towards Hebden Bridge, take Cross Stone Road on your left, signposted 'Todmorden golf course'.

Continue uphill past 'Broadstone Street', you will pass a small unmarked crag on your right. The road bends sharply to the right and steepens as you head higher. After another 100m you will find 'Hey Head Road' on your left, again signposted for the golf course. Take this left before turning left again in 75m towards the golfers' club house.

Once past this a footpath appears on your right, follow it for 250m to the crag which appears on your right.
