Altitude 400m a.s.l
Small broken quarries north of Pule Hill, contains a handful of boulder problems and potential for projects.
Left-hand side area marred by being north-facing and a tad green.
Right-hand side area is east-facing but has loose top-outs.
Leaning Wall Area suffers from drainage.
On National Trust estate - no known access issues.
Park on small lay-by opposite entrance to The Hay Green Hotel, take stile and follow footpath uphill westwards.
|So is Pule Hill, Shooters Nab and other Standedge Area crags from the Lancashire Brick - they are being adopted into the new Moorland Grit.|
