Lovely spot. Some mud! Wellies and rope bag recommended.
Some loose rock so helmets advised.
Cars can be parked at the end of Shore Road on the beach front (Please be aware that very high tides can reach this!) There is limited parking (3 cars) at the end of Cove Road but the lane is very narrow and may upset some of the locals! If at all full, park elsewhere to maintain access.
The bulk of the climbing is on the section that ends about 500m north at The Cove and is on land owned by the National Trust, which has agreed to permit climbing on their property. Status of the area past The Cove, known as Cueva remains sensitive.
The bulk of the climbing is on the section that ends about 500m north at The Cove and is on land owned by the National Trust, which has agreed to permit climbing on their property. A response is still awaited about a section just past The Cove, known as Cueva, which has 4 routes 6a+ to 6c. The owner of the rock further north at Far Arnside (La Republica) is currently unwilling to allow climbing.
