Crag features
Most northerly of na blascaodaí, also known as 'an Fear Marbh' due to its distinctive shape resembling a dead man lying down. Has huge unclimbed cliffs on the western side of the island, putting up routes would be a great adventure.
Approach notes
The island is only accessable by boat where the visitors must scramble up the lowest slab they can find.
Aspiring visitors should contact one of many companies operating tours in the area. Mick Sheeren of Marine Tours in particular has been known to offer landings on Inis Tuaisceart.
Access Advice
The island is home to a number of important seabird colonies, in particular the largest colony of European storm-petrels in Ireland. If you visit the island please take additional care to avoid disturbing these colonies.
