It's not all about the cave © JuneBob

Crag features

A truly spectacular crag. There are several walls, but the most eye-catching is without a doubt Hanshelleren.

Hanshelleren is a really big cave, 100m high and overhangs more than 80m. There is great potential for more routes, but they will be very hard. On the other sectors near cave there are over 100 other excellent sport routes, as well as significant trad opportunities.

Approach notes

Park at the campsite or by the bus stop, there is now a 50nok parking fee paid to the local farmer. Follow wooden signs along the road then, follow the tree line by the edge of the field to gain a gently rising ridge. Part way up the ridge is a large cairn, turn right and walk down into a dip and up onto another ridge. A short way up there's a sign saying “Hanshelleren” pointing right. Follow that if you're heading to the Footwork Wall. For the Lower Hans Section and Main Cave, continue straight up.
