Crag features

The obvious gneiss slab on the south side of A861. Patches of grass and heather. The gneiss has great friction, only maybe 45 degrees. Weepage lines but not much lichen.
Guide book says "routes are on immaculate but escapable rock and the protection is often poor".

Approach notes

Park on the old road section parallel to the new. Be aware that there are lots of deer around and clear signs of stag bathing pits.
